Lambs & Ivy is proud to be a California based women founded and run business. Lambs & Ivy got its start in 1979 in a quest to bring the world high quality, fashionable nursery bedding, room décor and products for babies. If you think a women founded and run business is rare in today’s world, imagine what it was like nearly 40 years ago.  Lambs & Ivy’s founders are successful female business pioneers and mothers to their own children as well.

It all started when Barbara Laiken became frustrated by the lack of bedding options available for cribs after her son was born. She got introduced to a nursery bedding designer named Cathy Ravdin. Barbara loved the designs Cathy had created and together they decided to launch Lambs & Ivy to help bring style, creativity, quality, and wonder to nurseries and parents around the world.

Over the years Lambs & Ivy has continued to innovate and design breathtaking nurseries and products for babies. At its core, Lambs & Ivy believes in making a quality product and providing the highest level of customer service.

Lambs & Ivy strongly believes in supporting our local community and causes of need. For many years we have supported causes around the world such as the March of Dimes, Save the Elephants, and we regularly donate blankets and supplies to shelters, orphanages and those in need.
